We refer to Chicago as the City of Big Shoulders. That is certainly true regarding Real Estate Values. Chicago and the MidWest in general are holding or increasing in value while most of the United States is seeing average closed prices begin to drop. And for the first time ever, my home town, a suburb bordering the Northwest Side of Chicago, has NO single family homes available under $500,000. Park Ridge, IL, like the Chicagoland area has seen the average price rise by almost 50% since July, 2019. This is my 45th year as a successful and productive Real Estate Broker and I have helped thousands of clients adjust and adapt, regardless of market conditions.
While supply increases from North to South and from East to West, we here in the MidWest are still hoping for an increase to help the many determined Buyers fulfill dreams.
